I posted this on Monday too. But only had one response so lets give it another go shall we! I have been preparing Mother's Day gift sets to post in my shops. I love making, giving and receiving gift sets of handmade goodies. My biggest problem is finding an attractive way to present them. Baskets are nice but the really nice ones can be pricey and adds to the bulk of shipping. What is an affordable, attractive and reusable way to display gift sets? If you have any ideas please share. What kinds of gifts have you received with really cool packaging? What made it special?
If someone comes up with an idea That I end up using I will send you a free product from my shop up to a $10 value with free shipping in the US. This offer is good until May 1st. If some ideas are more or less the same I will pick the first one to post that idea.
What to do for a chance to win....
- post your idea in the comment section below with an email address. You can also send me a message with your email if you wish to not share it publicly but don't forget to still post your idea in the comment section here, too. my email is 7kindred9@gmail.com
- More then 1 person can win because I could like more then one idea! So post each separate idea you have in its own separate comment.

Have you thought about decorative paper bags? This is a cute set on etsy with French Script - http://www.etsy.com/listing/72355965/. They you can fold over the top, and use a whole punch to make two wholes, then use a bakers twine to tie it closed. You could also make or buy To/From tags like this - http://www.etsy.com/listing/97825684/ - and put them through the twine.

Wow, please excuse all my typos haha Guess I should have read that over better!
Interesting looking boxes. The Valentine I got for my mom was in a box that looked like a red hat. That would be great for mother's day!
Rather than a basket...I just love when I've gotten beautifully wrapped products that I've ordered from Etsy that I purchased myself...wrapped in pretty paper with ribbon...my most recent even had a feather and handwritten card.
So nice to meet you through the Etsy Blog Team.
I am your newest blog follower! :)
All the best,

One thing that I do is go and look at the restaurant supply store here in town. It is called cash & carry. They sell things like chinese food boxes and take out boxes. I bought some large clear plastic ones to put fiber in, to keep it clean and they are not very heavy, and you can see through them. I have also used large clear drink cups. You might go someplace like that and see what inspires you. Or just go to different stores, like home depot or lowes and look in like the plumbing section or different places, you never know what you might find.
With some of my baskets I purchase different shaped plastic carrying ones with handles. That way they are reusable as well! I can buy them cheap at a local store here named "Dollar Tree" everything in the store is a dollar. And what makes it even better is that all of my baskets fit in the large priority mail boxes so that the shipping charge is always the same!
I love the decorative paper bag idea I will be using that one! SO Holly you get a prize!
Remember the Brainstorm contest is good until May 1st so keep sharing!Any idea I decide to use will get something!
